It’s normal for us to lose hair a day – usually anything from 100 to 150 each day just from brushing and styling! 6. Heredity: This can come from both sides of your family.

7. Other Health Conditions: Thyroid problems, lupus, and diabetes can accelerate hair loss. You should always consult your doctor about these.

8. Alopecia Areata: This is an autoimmune condition characterized by bald patches of a circular shape. The body starts to attack its own hair follicles, and you may need Cortisone shots in the head to reverse this.
